User friendly Excel Interface
Pegasus XRL is actually very easy to use. The XRL Wizard will import your data into Excel. You simply select the Company who’s data you want to use, identify the area of the system you are interested in (Nominal, Sales, Stock, Expenses, Costing, CRM etc) and then just choose the fields to show! Plus, it's all in plain English so there is no technical jargon. Getting your company's data into presented in Excel will literally take seconds!

Security Access and accuracy of information
Your first request is to log into Pegasus XRL in Excel. This is important to allow XRL to confirm your access/user rights, ensuring sensitive company information is accessable to only the relevant personnel. Once done, you can use Pegasus XRL to display financial data in very little time, plus it's accurate too. Pegasus XRL data is extracted straight out of your financial system, thus eliminating the input errors common in manual spreadsheet use.
Reporting Power
Now there is no need to make such an effort to enter information on to a spreadsheet, you can spend your time producing valuable and detailed analysis using Pegasus XRL’s powerful reporting tools. You can create a link between the data and a specific field in a spreadsheet to design Management Reports (P & L, Balance Sheet etc) in Excel and link the data fields 'live' into the latest accounting information.
Existing Pegasus XRL users now take one or hours rather than days to produce management reports. What's more reporting power is provided by multi-dimensional analysis tools such as Cube Analysis and Pivot Tables.

Pegasus XRL Drilldown
Not alone can you export data from your accounts in to Excel, but you can now interrogate those fields and drilldown to the transactions behind them! For example, a current balance value for a customer can be expanded by invoice number and then expanded again so that you can see the product which made up that invoice. The real strength of this would be clear if you were asked to explain a value on a spreadsheet; using drilldown to investigate the transactions behind the field, you would have an instant answer and would not have to refer back to the accounts system...

Excel Writeback to Accounts
This easy to use Data Send facility in Pegasus XRL enables you to take information which has been prepared in Excel and upload it directly back into the accounting system. Data such as customer price lists, Nominal Budgets and Stock Adjustments can all be entered into the Accounts System with a little effort.
